ACNE: A WARDROBE FAVOURITE

This post is sponsored by Farfetch

I touched on this idea briefly around my By Far boots. Highlighting favourite brands with more of a focus. Whether that’s 1 item worn different ways or gathering together all my favourite pieces from that one brand.

This week, Acne Studios. As a slightly higher price point, it does make having it as one of my favourite brand’s quite tricky (ha!) but honestly, if there was one brand I wish I could own THE WHOLE collection it would be Acne. For this blog post, I’m working in collaboration with Farfetch, but as ever, all thoughts are my own. I have previously and will continue to buy Acne.

Investing in Acne Studios

My first Acne purchase was my  Jenson boots. I saved for so long and finally got a few investors for Christmas – 3 years on these boots are still going strong.  Likewise with my Acne knit. I wear this jumper A LOT which I claim brings down the cost per wear value. (convincing myself this) Like my boots, it’s a wardrobe staple, an investment piece that I can see myself wearing every winter. And that’s why Acne is up there as one of my favourite brands, not only are the items something a little different they stand the test of time.

It might not be for everyone but I definitely prefer saving for one item than getting a couple of cheaper ones. It’s not always the case but I find I’ll wear them more often and re-wear each season. Perhaps that’s because they’re a never an impulse buy, I really consider the cost for months before.

The newest addition was a handbag update, which I had some vouchers to help with the cost. I was actually debating between a puffer coat or bag for a long time but feel like I’ll get some much wear out of this. I’ll always invest in a bag and have wanted a new bigger brown/tan one for a while now. I can fit so much more in compared to my mini cross over bags I’ve been used to lately and love how it has the short strap option too.

If you’re in the market for something Acne, Farfetch has recently launched the collection online. I’ve made an edit of some of my favourite pieces below too.

  • Acne Studios are a fave of mine too! I just got in three new pieces from them after thinking about them all for so long. Very excited to hear that Farfetch are carrying them now too!! Such good news!
Love your bag choice, the tan is so versatile. I’ve had my eye on the classic black Jensen boots and one of these bags in suede too. Maybe later this year.
