ACNE MUSUBI BAG.

Hello. I’m back. Hope you all had a lovely start to 2020.

I wanted to do a quick post today about my much loved item of 2019. I touched on the Acne Musubi bag briefly here.  Since then it has definitely earned its cost per wear, as you’ll have seen from my instagram. Recently I have had a few questions about said bag, so thought it would be a good opportunity to put it all down”on paper”

What is the size and colour?

There are two colours that can be slightly mistaken  – brown and almond. Mine is the brown with black inside.

Size: I think they’ve changed these from large, small and mini but correct me if i’m wrong. They now go, Maxi, Midi, Mini, Mirco.

Mine is the mini, but it definitely isn’t as mini as it sounds and holds ALOT. including a small make up bag, two phones, keys, beanie etc etc (that’s just today) You could probably fit a book in there too.

Does the leather soften/scratch?

It’s been a year of EXCESSIVE use. Like I said, I pretty much use this everyday. It’s currently sat beside me while I type and looking closely there are virtually no signs of wear to the main part of the bag. What I have noticed are the twisted knots (if that’s what you call them on the side) have started to curl and soften at the edges.

The leather in the main part of the bag feels thick and durable and due to the leather texture/grain, any imperfections aren’t really noticeable at all.

Is it practical?

Not only does it fit everything above, it also has a zip compartment and two strap options. Which I use mostly cross-body but this strap is also fully detachable making a nice top handle to carry.

There are of course cons to any bag. This one for me is price. It’s expensive, but I do believe it’s a classic and something I can see myself using for a long time. The quality has stood has stood the test of time this past year. So I have to say, I would highly recommend it.

Let me know if you have any more questions I can anwer here.
