Another wrap up warm and stay indoors kind of post. There’s plenty of denim, knitwear and coats on the blog this month…I feel like i’m always talking about winter dressing and layering up. One more won’t hurt, will it?
Well, this weekend was spent cosied up indoors feeling sorry for myself after getting my wisdom tooth out on Friday. A diet of cold & mashed food has not been fun to say the least. Luckily we snapped some photographs last weekend when my parents came to visit. It’s so lovely to have them over in London and on Sunday we headed to The King’s road. A great area when you want to avoid central London, especially at a weekend, especially at Christmas. Yikes! The King’s road has lots of lovely shops and restaurants and even the Saatchi gallery which is one of my favorites. Plus if you’re feeling very energetic South Kensington is just a short walk and The Hummingbird bakery cupcakes make it worth the trek. 😉
It was such a cold day that after these photos were taken I quickly picked up a hat to match my & Other Stories scarf. This scarf is the closest i’ll get to THAT Acne equivalent at a mere £100 less. It’s super long, perfect for extra chilly days like this one.
Thankfully I had layered up with this amazingly soft cashmere jumper from Jigsaw and long ASOS coat. To carry on my recent bag chat (see previous posts) and my known love for little bags. I was kindly gifted this amazing cross body from LKBennent to celebrate the relaunched of their collaboration with fashion illustrator, Boyarde Messenger and their pop-art inspired leather initials. What’s great about this one is the two zip compartment for extra organisation. A perfect Christmas present for a lover of little bags like me.
