A quick from me and some photos shot in Copenhagen around the Meatpacking district… as promised, more from Copenhagen coming soon. In the meantime, I wanted to chat about trying to wear less denim. I feel like I’m in a bit of a style rut lately, which usually comes during this in-betweeny time of year. So forcing myself not to wear jeans means working harder to think of what to wear. If that makes sense. I might even try to do a blog around ‘ a week out of denim’ – it’s going to be a struggle.
When i’m not wearing jeans, my go-to is corduroy which I’ve touched on before here. These trousers I picked up in Arket and I think the light colour will carry them in to spring with lightweight knits and tees.
This was not only the most comfortable outfit packed for Copenhagen it was super warm. Mainly because I had a pair of thermal Heattech leggings hidden underneath my trousers and a Heattech top underneath my jumper. Although we definitely don’t need these now, if you’re headed anywhere cold, I highly recommend heading to Uniqlo to invest in thermals.
I always get compliments on this knit when I wear it to work, people are often surprised it’s from Weekday. I was drawn to it for its detailing around the neck and huge collar. Maybe it’s just me but when I first saw it I thought it had a slight Ganni vibe. What do you think?
Hope you’re having a great week.
