LONG STORY SHORT - WAYS I'M WEARING SHORTS.

The heatwave hit a few weeks back and brought with it, a week wearing a lot of shorts. Some old favourites like my Mango shorts and some new, like the above white linen shorts from L.F.Markey.

Hope you all enjoyed having the sun, as I currently look outside at the rain.

I've always loved styling shorts with shirts - you can see more on last years post. Then just as temperatures dropped slightly it meant I could throw on a chunky knit or sweatshirt which is another favourite combination. 

SHORTS FOR THE OFFICE

Despite still wondering if shorts were workwear appropriate, this all went out the window when temperature hit 37 degrees in London. Lindsey kindly gave me a pair from & Other Stories that didn’t work for her and I teamed it with a black Arket vest. I've converted and I think more tailored styles, slightly longer work perfectly for the office. Or go all out and team it with a matching blazer / linen shirt.

My most worn have been these from American Vintage, which I was kindly sent as part of a project I did with them. They’re a linen mix which makes them great for holidays/hot weather and they just seem to go with everything in my wardrobe. Unfortunately they seem to be sold out but don’t forget to check stores.
