A long time coming but thought it was about time to do a bit of a supplier list from our wedding in Mallorca. Weddings aboard can be a bit of a mindfield so hopefully if you’re planning a wedding in Mallorca this can help.

Wedding Planner | Mille Papillons

First things first, we were very fortunate to have the help of Millie Papillons to help plan, they’re based on the Island and have an amazing knowledge of contacts. Tell them what you want and they’ll find it… unless you’re like me and don’t know what you want. They’ll happily bring some ideas to the table. It was amazing to have them there on the day and keep us all on track, making the whole thing come together so seamlessy and stress free. They also had a great relationship with our venue Finca Monnaber which is how we found it too.

Florist | Francis Garcia x Mille Papillons

They also organised all the flowers in house which was one less thing to source / decide on. We went for a mix of greens, pinks and pampas grass.

Entertainment | Panela Productions

I found this the most difficult but we worked with Panela Productions who have a HUGE list of musicians on their books. We had a Skype call and identified our style and taste, then they came back to us with some options. The band we had was amazing and really got the party started which was great.

Photography | Chris & Ruth

One thing I did get sorted pretty early on was photograhy. I had seen a few weddings in Mallorca shot by Chris and Ruth and they had captured everything so perfectly. They were so lovely to have with us on the day, Chris being with Simon and Ruth with me. The turn around of getting the highlights back was super quick and then SO many followed within a month or two.

Catering | The Cutting Edge Mallorca

I didn’t realise that some locations/hotels want you to stick to their prefered partner caterer, which can be good or bad but our venue was pretty open to everything. I knew I wanted something really relaxed with local ingredients and The Cutting Edge did just that. Amazing meat on a BBQ, with beautiful salads and sides, all served at the table on sharing platters between 4. After our intitial tasting I was dreaming about the Garlic Rosemary potatoes until the wedding. ha!

Cake | Barbara Backenkohler

As we couldn’t take the cake with us we went for a small but perfectly formed red velvet cake from Barbara Backenkohler and it was delicious.

Wedding Dress | Emma Beaumont

I’ve mentioned this before (you can read about it here) but I really struggled to find a dress that felt like me. When I came across Emma on Rock My Wedding I knew she was the perfect person to make my dress after our initital meeting … She somehow took all my random thoughts and turned it in to the perfect dress for me.

Makeup Artist | Sophie Higginson

Just because we were having a wedding in Mallorca, didn’t mean you have to stick local. (althought there is plenty of great options) I met Sophie years ago on a photoshoot. It was the first time getting my make up done professionally but still feeling/looking like myself and I always rememeber how much I loved how it looked. I knew I could put all my trust in her for our wedding, she’s so lovely and down to earth I would highly recommend getting in touch for any weddings home or aboard.

Stationery | The White Letter

I was very fortunate to have a talented friend who could help with all our stationery. She runs an amazing Wedding Stationery buisness in Belfast … Not only that but she gave me so much advice on what I needed beyond the invites and everything inbetween ha! Thanks Kerry.

Handwritten Typography The Lovely Drawer

Teri helped personalised our names  and a few other key words to use across our stationery and website. Super quick and just what we had in mind tying the whole thing together.

Linen | Enrich and Endure

Mum and dad very kindly collected my order from Enrice and Endure before the wedding and brought it to Mallroca for me. It was our little bit of Ireland in Mallorca. The most gorgous irish linen which if you want, you can also get personalised.

Printing – moo.com

We actually printed most things via moo, really handy for small qualities with good quality and fast shipping.

Thank You Cards & More – Papier

Once we had our initial set of photos back it was straight to Papier to make thank you cards. I also didn’t realise they made photo albums which I just started on and can’t wait to get back plus they do printed photo frames.

Accessories – Zara & H&M home

Think this one is what a lot of people do. I bought some bits to decorate the venue but wanted to make sure we could re use them. Like frames from H&M for our table numbers.  We also did a last minute run to Zara Home in Palma for silly things like candles. Just because I wanted to give myself more work to do which was un necessary. ha!

Hope that gives anyone planning a wedding in Mallorca (or not) some help… There’s also tons more photos over on Rock My Wedding. Honestly it was a fountain of knowlegde for me when planning our wedding and the podcast if great too. (you may also spot a familiar voice on the ‘planning a destination wedding’ Podcast episode 😉
