The finishing layer to any look and one of my favourties. The coat. It can be a tricky purchase the ol’ humble winter coat, as many shops start selling them before it even gets cold. A las autumn has arrived and coat season is in full swing.
When I was younger, I would constantly battle with my mum about the aforementioned layer of choice. She, of course caring about me freezing to death. I, on the other hand thought it was “cooler” to not wear one. Did anyone else feel like this? Look at me now, two coat specific posts in one week. (Read last weeks here)
How times have changed. My wardrobe is now stuffed with winter coats. The bigger, the warmer, the better. However the one coat I come back to, time and time again is the classic wool coat. So when Gap got in touch about styling up on of the new coats, it was a no brainer.
Opting for classic camel, this shape and style is something of a wardrobe staple. I like that it comes with a belt to change up the style from relaxed to fitted. Worn with kick flat jeans and merino wool roll neck.
I hope you’ve all been having a wonderful weekend. x
Post sponsored by Gap but views and an obsession with coats my own.
