AMERICA ROAD TRIP: SALVATION MOUNTAIN

Just a quick post from me and one of my favourite places we went to in America. Now that's a statement. Salvation mountain in the Colorado desert, situated an hours drive from Joshua tree national park about a 1.5 hour drive from Palm Springs.

I loved that it was like no where I'd ever seen before, the whole landscape of the desert is completely barren and then to have this "mountain" of colour filled with junk covered in graffiti it's slightly surreal. The whole area is extremely picturesque. The heats pretty intense, i'm surprised you can't see steam coming out of my head.I opted for this breezy top from Free People and some vintage Levis. I can almost feel the heat slowly burning my shoulders looking back on these photos.

A short air conned car drive lead us to Joshua tree, an amazing national park filled with crazy trees, rocks and creatures... That doesn't make it sound too appealing but it is. If you're ever visiting LA or nearby I would definitely recommend Palm Springs.
