STORIES OF A LINEN DRESS

zaradress.jpg

This linen dress was featured in my ‘Best dresses for summer’ blog post last week. It’s been a new favourite of mine and although it’s been packed mostly for holidays. It’s been worn back in London with a leather jacket and trainers and could definitely be an option for any festivals, accompanied by welly boots and waterproofs (however being near mud might not be the best idea.)

Zara Linen dress

Linen is such a great fabric for summer and although not my usual go to for quality fabrics, Zara is killing it in the linen front this season. So many great pieces for summer. I’m wearing it with my Castañer wedges which I recently re purchased in a neutral canvas. I wore my black ones so much last year I know these really are the most comfortable. Also new for summer, my bag from Free people. It reminds me of a little beehive and holds phone, camera, purse and sunglasses perfectly.

The story of a linen dress part one.

These photos were taken in probably my favourite place in Mallorca. Not because it’s at all ‘cool’ or that scenic, contrary to this one wall in the background which we joke is like the “instagram wall” of Calvia.

This is my favourite place because of one family-run restaurant that serves the best Aioli and bread EVER ( and other great dishes, but boy that Aioli.)

I can’t remember my first time there but it’s bound to as a baby, hence not remembering ha!. We’ve sat inside in the cold of February and we’ve celebrated birthdays on the terrace in the baking summer heat and I hope when we go back to Mallorca to get married we get to make more friends and family there too. We snapped some photos on our film camera which I'll be sharing more of soon in another post. Hope you like it.

Have a wonderful Sunday everyone,

Kim x
