WHERE TO STAY IN SANTA BARBARA: THE GOODLAND

Glorious sunshine! Oh but a distant memory now. Looking back at these last remaining photo’s from our USA trip, it's far removed from what I see out my window now. Please take me back to The Goodland. A quick stop in the beautiful city of Santa Barbara before hitting the madness of LA. Santa Barbara has a Mediterranean-style feel with beautiful architecture reflecting the city’s Spanish heritage. We took this opportunity to relax from our big city moments in NYC and San Fransico and to be honest, spent a lot of time at our hotel drinking cocktails by the pool.

If you're doing the big drive down the west coast, I highly recommend making this one of your stops. We stayed at The Kimpton Goodland and if you take a look at the photos below you can see why we didn’t want to leave. Parked up front was this amazing airstream trailer, Instagram heaven. Wearing my new matching pieces from & Other Stories I felt slightly like we’d went back in time. An eco-friendly hotel, the decor is rustic but modern with a slight hipster vibe. There's live music in the evening to accompany delicious food and cocktails. All of which can be served while you lounge by the pool. That's where you can find me, mojito in hand. When we did leave the pool we dined in the Outpost which is designed to offer you an incredible Santa Barbara dining experience, the food was incredible.A boutique hotel in Santa Barbara's sister's city Golet, it’s only a short drive to State Street which is filled with all the restaurants, shops and galleries you need. Plus if you’re feeling adventurous you could borrow the hotel’s bikes and venture to the beautiful beaches or take a drive to the fabled vineyards of Santa Barbara County. As always you can check out more on my USA travel guide on Pinterest here.

Thank you for having me Kimpton Goodland
