It’s been a while since I’ve chatted about beauty on the blog. So with a few new bits acquired recently, I thought no better time to get back in to it with some winter beauty bits i’m loving.
First up, I caved in to the hype that is Glossier. I had to see what all the fuss was about… blog purposes of course. The packaging pretty much had me sold, but thankfully the product inside equally lived up to the hype.
- The lip balm (after using most of Lizzy’s in Paris)
- The milk Jelly Cleanser – which I must admit, I’m not sold on the smell.
- Super Bounce serum, which when used with the above makes my face feel pretty dam soft.
- Priming Moisturiser – I really love the texture and has kept my skin looking fresh .
With winter finally here I thought it was about time to switch up my lipstick of choice. From my usual go-to reds from more berry tones. Loving these from Bobbi Brown, in Cherry and Grenadine. I’ll definitely try and shoot these on my face, appreciate it’s pretty hard to see what they’re like sat on my table. What I can say is these are lovely and hydrating.
All summer I’ve been using this Urban Decay Heat palette, which i’ve loved using when I’m slightly more tan. I tend to focus on the left side of the palette with the colours ‘Chase & Sauced’ but now party season is upon us I might venture a little more to the right and try using ‘Ember’ and He devil’ for the evening.
Now something that falls perhaps more into to Christmas gift territory… too soon? Never. A few weeks back I was invited to an Elemis Christmas event and after they very kindly sent me this ULTIMATE box of Christmas treats. (Mum if your reading this, of course we can share)
This box is the perfect gift, not only filled with all my faves form the pro collagen range, the box can be used after as a jewellery box… Such a great idea.
Finally, I just wanted to share this new online gifting concept idea, which I thought was pretty cool. A few weeks back I received this gorgeous gift box from Parcel London. The website offers a choice of pre-curated gift boxes, each filled with 5 products ranging from leather accessories and beauty products, to homewares and stationary. Perfect for last minute gifts for friends.
Mine was filled with:
Skeem Poetry Match bottle – which are probably the cutest matches i’ve ever seen.
A Join London lavender soy wax candle
Konjac Sponge Co Bamboo charcoal sponge
Guy Morgan Apothecary exfoliating clay face mask
Ocelot Milk chocolate
Really worth checking out if your in need of a gift. They all come in a keepsake Parcel box and greetings card. Win!
