EXPLORING LONDON – THE BARBICAN
I love to travel and explore new places. Yet, sometimes it’s the very places you live that you don’t explore enough. I’ve lived in London a few years now and haven’t even scratched the surface of places to see. Last weekend we were very kindly given the new Mini Clubman for the weekend so it was time to get out and explore the city. This included my first visit to the Barbican, what a delightfully ugly building. For those who may not know, the Barbican was built as a residential estate during the 60s/70s and is now Europe's largest arts centre. It has a theatre, art galleries, restaurants, housing…basically everything. If you’re into architecture or arts this is definitely worth a visit. Then it was a quick pit stop in Nottinghill on our way home for a late lunch at EggBreak. Just check out our egg-cellent meal over on my Instagram. Dressed from head to (almost) toe in pieces I got for Christmas. COS being the retailer of choice, as everyone knows you can’t go wrong when buying me anything from COS. My mum also treated me to these amazing JBrand jeans, which you will have seen before on the blog, I've been living in them ever since. This year I definitely want to do a lot more stay-cations. Let me know your favourite places to visit in London or even the UK.
