3 WAYS TO WEAR: THE TRENCH COAT

Back with an outfit post, it's been a little while. My last post on wedding dramas and a beauty post with Beauty Pie were a little different for me but I hoped you enjoyed them too. Anyways, I'm back to basics. A good old fashions outfit post and 3 for the price of one. I must say it's taken me a while to grow into a trench. I've always felt a little formal or restricted in them.  However, I was kindly sent this by Arket and it must have been the right place, the right time, as I've been wearing it most days. I've pulled together 3 of my most worn combinations.

The spring weather has me reaching for my white jeans again and this pair I got last year or maybe even the year before from Me & Em. Love the wide leg crop. Worn with my Arket knit and black accessories.

The temperatures peaked a few weeks back. Warm enough to wear my first dress of the season woohoo. Plus the added layer of a cosy knit & the trench. ha! Honestly, I have worn these Vejas to death they are in need an of good clean. I get a few questions about these and which style they are. I went for the leather Esplar.

Finally on my bid to wear fewer jeans, I picked up these navy chinos from Arket. Super comfy and an easy outfit for work or weekends.Plenty of layering in these outfits and I think at this time of year that's what makes the trench a great transitional piece. Usually teamed with a chunky knit for these cooler days, I'm looking forward to being able to throw it on over a tee or midi dress minus the jumper sometime soon.
