I can’t believe it's almost 2019. Where did 2018 go? I’m back to London and while unpacking my suitcase, rejigging my wardrobe and generally having a mini clear out (new year, fresh start vibe) I got to think about this awkward in-between period and what I’ll be wearing from now and through 2019.

Shops begin to flood with new season items but it can still be pretty cold out. I've teamed up with Boden to check out their new season pieces; things you can wear now and again throughout the season.

The Update
Of course, for me, denim is always a great place to start. So a fresh new pair never does any harm. ha! I’ve been really loving the Parisian vibes of Jeanne Damas and the cropped flared cut she wears. So for something a little fresh and new, you’ll be seeing me gravitate towards this Keswick style...is it the end of the straight leg jean for Kim?

The New
My absolute favourite piece, this lightweight knit perfect for any time of year. It's an unusual 13 degrees today, so I’ve opted for nothing underneath but I think this could look cool with a roll-neck top under for extra warmth when temperatures drop.To carry on that Parisian style, I always think this type of more open weave knit has that vibe. Can you tell I want to be a cool French girl yet?

The Classic
Finally, one investment piece that will always see you through the year and that's a really good leather jacket. This cropped classic from Boden is made from the softest leather but I love that they’ve toughened it up with chunky hardware.
