PORT HOTEL: EASTBOURNE

Walking up to the sound of waves is my idea of heaven. An escape to the sea and my first hotel stay since lockdown. Port Hotel is a boutique hotel situated on Eastbourne's Royal Parade, a stone's throw from the beach. It has the most amazing interiors, not to mention the view, with every little detail thought of.

If you’re in the mood for a weekend escape out of the city, this is perfect. I think the train was about 1.5 hours and then a short walk to the hotel. We hit the jackpot with the weather this wekend, so the day was spent relaxing by the beach before heading to the hotel restaurant and bar where the food was next level good, all locally sourced.

I think next time I would definitely hire a car and explore the surrounding countryside and beaches more. Watch this space. x
