MELLOW YELLOW.

Last week I was sharing our Mini Adventure to Brighton on the blog but what I didn't mention was what I pack for our weekend away. Spring was finally in the air and that called for a colour to match the mood. I've been talking a lot about pink this season but it would be good not to forget another big colour for SS17. Hello yellow!

Wearing yellow.

From mustard to zingy lemon, yellow was all over the catwalk for SS17. It was that iconic dress from LA LA Land and even made an appearance in An American in Paris that I saw on Tuesday. It lifts the mood and injects a little sunshine to our wardrobes. However, I can find yellow a little tricky and it isn't something I wear readily. But when I saw this jacket in the new SS17 collection at Jigsaw it really caught my eye. I loved how it was a smart jacket but in this a fun colour and although I'm not one for smart, I liked the idea of dressing it down with straight-legged jeans and a T-shirt.Perfect for a stroll down Brighton pier. As mentioned before, we were SO lucky with weather, I think this was the first time i'd seen a T-shirt in months!Hope you have a great weekend x
