SPRING JACKETS
Guess what? Spring is almost in touching distance. That means one thing - it’s time to dig out some lighter coats and jackets. It can be a bit of a struggle, it’s still chilly but a puffer coat looks to heavy, and it’s not quite warm enough to ditch the coat altogether. So, here are my top picks for spring jackets.
The Trench Coat
This is the ultimate spring coat. I have a couple of variations on this theme, whether cropped or full length, navy or beige. The key to spring dressing is layering. Here, I have a really warm knitted cardigan layered underneath. Alternatively, layering with a thin padded puffer, like in the image above, adds that little extra warmth without looking too wintery.

The Suede Jacket
For this one, we need it not to rain, but I love the suede jacket trend. Especially in brown tones, for something a little more spring like vs a black leather jacket. For extra warmth layer with knitwear under and over. 😂

The Barn Jacket
A canvas Barn / Chore Jacket is a great alternative to the cropped trench coat, sometimes they can be a bit more padded or lined for extra warmth.
