SUMMER SANDALS

Hello! How is everyone? The sunshine finally looks like it’s making a comeback this week, so I thought I would do a little round up of some new and old summer sandals that I will be wearing. I’m usually between a size UK 6/7 for reference.

ARKET CHUNKY LEATHER SANDAL

A pair i’ve been waiting for a long time to come back in stock. These chunky Arket sandals. Love them or hate them, i’m quite partial to an ugly dad shoe and these will be the closest I’ll get to the sold out Chanel dream sandals. I’ve worn them a alot and haven’t rubbed at all.

I went for a size 39.

Don’t be disheartened if they’re out of stock, Arket is usually really good at restocking items.

BIRKENSTOCK TAUPE SUEDE

I’ve always had a pair of Birkenstocks on rotation from a young age. This summer I thought it was time to mix it up from the black and opted for the taupe in suede. Don’t get me wrong, I still love the black but these look great white summer whites and denim.

They’re a lot heavier than the Eva model but still super comfy.

I went for size 40.

ARIZONA LOVE TREKKY SANDALS

Another pair you’ll either love or hate - the trekky sandals from Arizona Love. Undoubtably super comfortable, I bought these last year. Although very expensive, there are now some great alternative online too. try searching ‘bandana sandals’

Fit is small so I went for size 40.

BIRKENSTOCK EVA SANDAL

The ones I’ve had the longest and wear most often. My Eva Birkenstock are made from EVA which stands for "ethylene vinyl acetate," which is a super lightweight material that's somewhere between foam and rubber.

I can’t tell you how comfy these are and because they’re rubber vs the suede, really easy to keep clean.

I went for size 40.

ZARA FLAT SANDALS WITH TOPSTITCHING

Moving away slightly from the chunky sandal, I’d been after something a little finer from the ones mentioned above. I’m obsessed with anything this colour so couldn’t resist this flat tan pair from Zara.

I haven’t worn them much for long periods of time but easing in slowly and they seem comfy so far.

I went for size 40 but think I could’ve got away with a 39.

H&M BARELY THERE SANDAL

Last but not least, another barely-there pair of sandals in black. This time the straps are more spongey, not sure if you can see that from the photo. This pair are from H&M, again as we’re not out much I haven’t been walking all day in these but would probably go for my birks if I was planning a long day walking anyway.

I went for size 39

FLATTERED ‘MILLA’ BROWN SANDAL

The newest addition and as you know i’m absolute sucker for a tan sandal. I love how much more elegant these look, perfect for dressier occasions, yet still casual.

Highly recommend checking out Flattered they’ve gorgeous shoes - handmade in Spain.

I went for size 40.

Unfortunately the Birkenstocks seem to be sold out everywhere but i’m sure as they’re a classic style, they’ll be back. Worth keeping an eye out and I know the official site lets you sign up for notifications.
