WHERE TO STAY IN BROOKLYN: THE WILLIAMSBURG HOTEL

The Williamsburg Hotel is your home sweet hotel in the heart of Brooklyn. The interior speaks for itself but the service and the laid back vibe made me really pleased we picked to stay here and I would 100% return.

My trip to NYC feels so long ago (and it kinda was) I’m already looking back at these photos and want to go back. I’ve been 3 times already, so this time we wanted to do something a little different. Staying in Brooklyn was top of that list. If you ever visit NYC I urge you to check out this area, if only for a day. There are lots of amazing boutique shops and concept stores. Great coffee shops and restaurants and of course some of the best views of the Manhattan skyline.

THE WILLIAMSBURG HOTEL

I’m obsessed with the interior of this hotel. Just look at those bathroom tiles. Our room had floor to ceiling windows and our own little balcony. I think one of my favourite moments was just sitting out here, wrapped in Simons huge coat over my PJ’s watching the sun come up over the city. No photograph will ever capture that moment well.

The Williamsburg hotel is located on Wythe Avenue, surrounded by one or two other noteworthy hotels. The food is great in the hotel too, for those jet-lagged evenings when you don't wait to stray too far.

We also had breakfast at the Egg shop nearby, cocktails on the roof of The William Vale and shopped WAY too much in Concrete and Water.

Now to start planning my next great escape.
