A photoshoot with a difference.

A few months back (clearly when it was a lot warmer) I was invited to be part of a photo-shoot with acclaimed photographer Alex Lambrechts. But, would you believe me if I told you the whole thing was taken on the new Huawei P9, with a phone camera created alongside photography brand Leica. Based at the Mondrian hotel we explored around the area, shooting and filming on the go. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of the camera and how you can achieve things like motion blur and depth of field.

A New Perspective on Styling

Styled by the amazing @Calvinopaleye, who had me laughing all day – so much fun. The looks he created were based on my Instagram feed with a dress I had tried on the day before in Zara. Classic & simple with a little twist. I love taking something like a feminine dress and adding a stand out shoe or something like a simple white shirt but with unexpected detail. The icing on top was having my hair done by @pablokuemin and makeup by @jehanradwan – I wish I could have this treatment every day. The camera on the phone is insanely good and for someone who takes A LOT of snaps, it made me rethink all of those times I have to carry my big DSLR. Plus the front camera is just as good as the back. See said selfie. What do you think of the final results?
