WINTER WEDDING GUEST DRESSING.
Freezing is an understatement this week, so why am I frolicking around in a backless dress you may ask? Don’t worry it was only a matter of minutes to show you this amazing dress I wore to a winter wedding recently. I had an equally amazing fur jacket that came to my rescue.
What to wear to a winter wedding?
Last weekend was a close friends wedding and of course in true Kim fashion I waited until the very last minute to plan my look... Like, we’re talking the day I was flying home. Thankfully my go to brands for any wedding attire came to the rescue. Free People and Reiss. Who knew it would be a match made it in heaven. Velvet has been a HUGE trend for Aw16 and this Free People dress ticked all the boxes, as it always does for me. Just check out my previous posts. It has a tie front which I spent the day debating, did I prefer it tied or not. I must’ve preferred untied as I forgot to shoot it the other way. Sorry. Finally, the knight in faux fur armour – this Reiss jacket literally saved my shivering bones, walking to and from the venue. What I’m most excited about is wearing this in a more casual way. I think it will look really cool with straight-legged jeans and roll neck, a la my last post.
I hope if you have any weddings on the horizon you're a little more prepared than I was, would love to hear your go-to brands?
