LINEN FAVOURITES

Slightly late on writing up this blog post, summer has soon come to an end but I realised I’m still wearing linen regardless.

It’s one of my most worn fabrics of summer and beyond. Lightweight shirts and trousers perfect for the city and linen dresses and shorts are always packed for summer holidays.

I recently picked up a few new pieces of linen to add to my summer wardrobe. One being this black & Other Stories Dress which you may have seen here back in June but I think it has a few more wears before it’s packed away for next summer. A classic LBC that will never tire, I love the back detailing. It’s a lot thicker than some of the linen pieces I have which gives it a smarter look.

Next up another & Other Stories dress that I got for our wedding weekend, I packed again for our second visit to Mallorca last week and love how super comfy and relaxed it is. Perfect for out night in Palma eating my body weight in tapas.

And it’s not just been summer holidays, I’ve been wearing a lot of linen shorts while in London. These L.F.Markey I spotted on Net-A-Porter and just really liked the length and shape. I’ve been wearing them with lightweight knitwear or double dosing with a big linen shirt.
