NEW SUMMER JEANS: 3 OF MY TOP PICKS.
Obviously by now we all know my addiction to denim. If not, hello I’m Kim. A blog where you will find lots of jeans and my adventures in them. The thought of giving up jeans during the summer months is unthinkable. Given that they're such a wardrobe staple for me. So I thought no better time to show you some of the new summer jeans I’ve been loving lately.
LEVIS
Ok dark jeans don't scream summer but this pair has really taken me by surprise. You'll have seen them before in this post too, honestly this pair of Levi’s wedgies have stolen my heart especially with my By Far shoe combo. They fit it great. My favourite kind of style, the straight leg. Button fly and frayed hem. They look really cool with a simple white tee and heels or more summery colours like this light blue or even sunny yellow. I promise, dark jeans aren't just for winter.
7 FOR ALL MANKIND
7 For All Mankind kindly got in touch to see if I would like a pair of jeans. Like any gifted pieces, I don't accept about 95% of product I get offered. I remember one of my first pair of designer jeans being 7FAM, so I was interested to get reacquainted with a brand I once loved. I picked this white pair because it’s my go to colour for this time of year. As I mostly gravitate to wide leg crops (with this pair almost making the post too) I thought a slim leg was a perfect change.
Ok, these are probably the softest jeans I’ve ever felt, so comfy but i'll add, they have totally held they’re shape too. Again love the button up style and the frayed, uneven hems add something a little different. Worn with this American Vintage cardigan which I've been wearing so much lately. Actually kind of perfect for cool evenings.
TOPSHOP
For many reasons Topshop is probably my go to for jeans. I usually end up getting the “un named” styles. eg: not the Joni's or Jamies. These were just called a 'straight leg' and probably the style I’ve bought most of recently. What sold it to me was the colour. Perfect for summer, looking slightly retro. A little boxy being more on the cropped side but the perfect leg length for summer for sandals and trainers.
Topshop jeans usually last me quite a while, they do some times stretch around the knees however and when these photos where taken they'd quite a few wears but I don't mind that. Character eh?
